Experts attribute the dynamics to the shortage of the fleet of airlines due to delays in the supply of new domestic aircraft. In February, the head of Rosaviation Dmitry Yadrov said that by the end of the year, air traffic will be 109.5 million passengers, which is 2.3% lower than the data of 2024. According to the forecasts of the Federal Air Transport Agency, domestic transportation will decrease by 1.5% to 83.3 million people, international - by 2%, to 26.4 million. Earlier it was reported that in 2023 the group of companies "Aeroflot" ("Aeroflot", "Russia", "Victory") succeeded 55.4 million passengers, 42.6 million of which accounted for domestic flights, and 12.7 million for international flights. The head of Rosaviatsiya Dmitry Yadrov noted that passenger traffic in the past year by 5% compared to 2023.
