Such a center in the public health system in Western Siberia is the only one. “Thanks to the opening of the Tomsk Center for Extrapyramidal Disorders and Botulinum Therapy, patients with serious neurological disorders can receive specialized medical care for MHI free of charge,” said Robert Fidarov, Head of the Tomsk Region Health Department. The chief doctor of hospital No. 2 Evgeny Novitsky noted that the center will use modern methods for botulinum protein injections: neuronavigation (ultrasound and electromyography), as well as manual muscle testing. This will significantly improve the effectiveness of the drug.
