In the Lipetsk region, a foreigner will be convicted for a robbery attack on a kiosk in Yelets. The incident occurred in May 2024. According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, the 58-year-old man threatened the seller with an object similar to a firearm and demanded to give 14,400 rubles from the cash register. An employee of the kiosk called the police, who on the spot detained the criminal. The gun turned out to be airball. It does not belong to the category of firearms. The robber was taken into custody. The criminal case under Article 162 of the Criminal Code on robbery with the threat of violence was transferred to the court. The foreigner faces up to 10 years in prison.
