Alikhanov: 13 MS-21 and 20 SJ-100 aircraft are in production

It is noted that nine serial MS-21 aircraft are already ready for installation of systems, and the remaining four are at the stage of aggregate assembly. "According to the SJ-100, we have 20 serial aircraft in varying degrees of readiness, including 10 already in the process of final assembly, installation of equipment and systems," Alikhanov said, according to TASS. At the same time, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) previously reported that about 40 MS-21 and SJ-100 aircraft in varying degrees of readiness are at UAC enterprises, this is done to accelerate the production of machines after certification of their Russian appearance. Earlier, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov said that Russia plans at the first stage to enter the annual production of at least 36 MS-21 Russian-made aircraft. In the future, it is planned to double the number of aircraft produced depending on export plans.
