Artist Sokolova: did not feel any negative at the competition in London

The artist said that her portrait won the audience prize. When I got through the first round, I had to send it to London so they could look at it live for the second round and decide if it fits in or not. And I did. At the opening I didn’t feel any negative attitude towards myself, to be honest. Everything was normal, Sokolova said. She shared that she was very worried, as the painting could be detained at customs, but everything went well. The portrait painter said that she did not manage to get to the competition for a long time, as many talented people from different countries participate in it. “Very tough conditions, that is, the quality should be just incredibly good, a very large competition, people participate from all over the world,” said Sokolova. Earlier it was reported that the gallery ARTSTORY exhibited new series of works by artist Sasha Sokolova. The exhibition presents two new series of works – “Sugar Nastasya” and “Sun Gods”. On the canvases are real people with all their shortcomings and imperfections.
