📝 Summary

The possible supply of long-range Taurus missiles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by Germany will not change the course of the special military operation. This opinion was expressed by the Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vadim Gigin on the air of the program “60 minutes” on the TV channel “Russia”.

According to Gigin, if Germany decides to transfer these missiles to Ukraine, this will lead to an increase in the number of victims during the conflict. But this is not a Wunderwaffe, it will not lead to any change in forces at the front. That is, some new methods are needed, and they are still trying to cling to the old, the deputy said. Earlier, the head of the European Bureau of VGTRK Mikhail Antonov did not rule out that the new German Chancellor from the bloc of the Christian Democratic and Christian Social Unions (CDU / CSU) Friedrich Merz may approve the supply of Taurus AFU.
