Deputy Governor of the Rostov region Rachalovsky sent under house arrest

This is reported by TASS from the meeting room. Earlier it was reported about the detention of Rachalovsky in the case of abuse of power. On the morning of February 17, searches were carried out in the government building of the region. As part of the case, searches were also conducted at the adviser to the governor of the Rostov region Viktor Goncharov. According to the investigation, Rachalovsky committed a crime in the implementation of the state program for the development of agriculture. In particular, he allocated state support to enterprises in difficult financial situation. The recipients of the grants were later declared bankrupt, and the 155.2 million rubles allocated were stolen, Rachalovsky told the court that he would not admit his guilt. Since November 2024, several officials have been detained in the Rostov region - Transport Minister Vitaly Kushnarev and Finance Minister Lilia Fedotova.
