This difficult decision is dictated by the need to focus maximally on work with the Russian national team," the club's president Artashes Arutyunyan is quoted as saying by the club's Telegram channel. The president of "Rostov" noted that the rest of the coaching staff will remain at the club and will continue to combine work at the club and with the national team. "At the moment, the situation is such that I need to fully dedicate myself to the main team of the country - the Russian national team," emphasized Karpin. Earlier, Karpin stated that Russian football has been heading in the wrong direction for 20 years.
