Early elections to the Bundestag were held on February 23. According to official preliminary results, the CDU / CSU bloc won, which gained 28.5%. The second place is occupied by the Alternative for Germany, which was voted by 20.8% of voters. The Social Democrats, to which Chancellor Olaf Scholz belongs, showed the worst result in their history – 16.4%.
