Dialogues of generations as lessons of courage: in Vladikavkaz held a series of meetings of schoolchildren and students with participants of the SVO

A first-person lesson in courage. The participants of the special military operation told students about how patriotism inspires heroic deeds, how school knowledge helps in a combat situation and why it is important to protect the historical truth. Our correspondent will tell about the meeting of generations in the headquarters of public support of the United Russia party, in the Vladikavkaz Institute of Management and in the medical college. “Who do you think is a patriot?” From this question to schoolchildren, SVO participant Aslan Kaitukov begins each "Lesson of Courage". The answers are different, but always profound. For some patriotism is loyalty and honor, others are sure that it is hidden in feelings and heroic deeds. At the front, according to Aslan Kaitukov, all these qualities are important. School knowledge will be even more useful. For example, scouts should be able to write correctly. Mistakes in gathering information or writing can cost lives. And the notorious multiplication table will help calculate the distance to the enemy. The students were also taught about the skills of safe handling of weapons. In addition, high school students tried themselves as operators of unmanned aerial vehicles. For eleventh grader Egor Kolobkov, such "Lessons of Courage" is a great opportunity not only to learn the military skills of a modern young fighter, but also to personally get acquainted with the participants of a special military operation. Egor Kolobkov, pupil of school No40 in Vladikavkaz: Every such meeting is something new for us. Everyone tells us everything in their own way. Because they're all in different field tasks. But it all comes down to one thing – patriotism and love for the Motherland. It’s always interesting to listen to different people. To look through their eyes on the battlefield and learn more about the geopolitical situation from different angles. The "Lesson of Courage" was held at the site of the United Russia Public Support Headquarters with the support of the Center for Military-Patriotic Education of Youth. Students were taught to navigate the terrain to the cardinal points, as well as using a compass and map. The organizers note that patriotic education is one of the key directions of the People’s Program of the party. Stanislav Dzgoev, deputy of the Assembly of Representatives of Vladikavkaz, member of the SVO: "Now is the time, technology. And this is especially true of the SVO. There today, in order to save lives, sometimes it is not necessary to send a reconnaissance team, you can raise a drone and without losses conduct the same reconnaissance. That is why we are talking about it today to the students.” Aslan Kaitukov, director of the Center for Military-Patriotic Education of Youth, a participant of the SVO: “Adults should talk to younger ones. Especially what is happening in the world. And it is only through practical training that what is needed can be conveyed, namely in the educational plan.” “Open dialogue” between students and participants of the SVO was held in the walls of the Vladikavkaz Institute of Management. The meeting was timed to the upcoming 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The guest of honor is a participant of the SVO, candidate of technical sciences Vladimir Urumov. "Behind the Ribbon" has been in place since 2022. Not so long ago, Vladimir was seriously wounded, is now undergoing rehabilitation. Participants talked to students about the exploits of soldiers and officers during the Great Patriotic War, talked about the relationship between generations. The organizer of the event is the Coordination Center for the Prevention of Extremism of SOSU. Larisa Dzakhova, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Political Science of K.L. Khetagurov SoGU: “This meeting is dictated by paying respect and admiration to those people who have always stood guard over our fatherland, and continues to do so.” Continue to serve in the SVO zone and military doctors. Today, they share their experiences with their younger colleagues. What challenges our country is struggling with and how important it is to be a true patriot when the future is decided. This and many other students of the republican medical college were told by military doctors, participants of the SVO. The format of the dialogue allowed everyone to ask a question of interest. And all, as a rule, addressed to Lieutenant Maria Miroshnichenko. At the age of 11, she knew she was going to be a doctor. Of course, as a child, she did not imagine that the cherished way of saving people would lead her not only to the zone of a special military operation, but also to state awards and exploits. Risking herself, Maria was able to carry out wounded colleagues from under fire. So we know who if not me. If we remember the years of the Great Patriotic War, if our grandfathers had thought why we needed it, then neither we nor you nor this conversation would have happened. Inspired by examples of fearlessness and valor... Such meetings open doors to young hearts into a world of real values, where courage and loyalty become the guiding stars for everyone. Lesson after lesson, schoolchildren and students are beginning to understand more and more how important it is to be worthy successors of the history that our grandfathers and great-grandfathers wrote on the battlefields for many years.
