📝 Summary

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed support for the idea of a partial ceasefire in Ukraine.

The Turkish leader in his video message to the participants of the “Meeting of leaders of like-minded countries” said that Turkey stands for an agreement between Russia and Ukraine to stop air and sea attacks. This, he believes, will help build trust between the parties. To achieve a just, lasting and dignified peace between Russia and Ukraine, a solid diplomatic foundation is needed, followed by peace talks. Erdogan added that Turkey is ready to host talks to find a sustainable solution to the Ukrainian conflict. Earlier, the adviser to the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Ambassador Akif Chagatay Kilic, denied the “cooling” of Russian-Turkish relations.
