Excursions, film screenings and theatrical productions: IAF participants are prepared for cultural immersion in the Arctic

Participants of the forum "Arctic - Territory of Dialogue" will be able to deeply immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Kola North thanks to the cultural program of the event, reports GTRK "Murman". It included many excursions, film screenings and performances of artists, follows from the information on the IAF website. In the regional museum will open thematic exhibitions. Among them is an exhibition of paintings on the development of the Arctic and the Northern Sea Route from the funds of the art museum of the region, as well as a collection of works from the collection of the center of contemporary art "Shining" and works donated to the art museum by Vladimir Nekrasov and Andrei Malakhov. An important cultural event will be a tour of the icebreaker-museum "Lenin". The world’s first nuclear-powered ship for about 30 years provided navigation on the Northern Sea Route, managed to travel more than 654 thousand nautical miles and conduct thousands of ships. Today, Lenin has become one of the most visited tourist sites and a hallmark of the Kola Arctic. The International Arctic Forum will also feature screenings of the films North Pole and Widow Village. The paintings convey to the viewer the idea of a close connection between the present and the past, the importance of unity, fortitude, love for the Motherland. They tell stories about the exploits of the Russian people in the Far North. For guests of the IAF will be available and performances in the theaters of Murmansk. A creative evening of Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Oleshko "Tune the mood" is planned. And the art cocktail will show the production "Prologue about the Murmansk region". The evening will end with a concert featuring the Northern Fleet Song and Dance Ensemble.
