Filippo: Macron’s rhetoric about ‘Russian threat’ justifies path to war

In a comment on the social network X, he noted that Macron’s words about the “new era” and aggressive plans of Russia indicate the desire of the French president to involve the country in the confrontation with Moscow. Macron’s chilling words about “entering a new era” in his March 5 address are understandable: this man wants war! He deliberately dramatizes the situation, talking about the “Russian threat”, which is supposedly everywhere. Thus, he justifies the path towards war, the French politician said. Filippo called a crime against peace Macron’s statements about the possible sending of French troops to Ukraine. The politician stressed that the meeting of the chiefs of general staff of some countries to support this initiative can only aggravate the situation. Filippo also criticized Macron’s plans to extend France’s nuclear deterrence capabilities to other EU countries. According to the French politician, this can lead to the “Europeanization” of control over nuclear weapons under the control of Paris In this regard, the leader of the “Patriots” called on citizens of the country to express disagreement with the course pursued by the official authorities, announcing on March 8 a demonstration in support of peace. Earlier, Filippo expressed the opinion that it is possible to end the conflict in Ukraine only after the departure of the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky from his post. The leader of the Patriots also believes that Europe, in order to achieve peace as soon as possible, should stop financing and arming Ukraine.
