The episode was uncovered by employees of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption Counteraction of the Krasnoarmeysky District Police Department. According to the investigation, the director of a local autonomous non-profit organization for additional professional education misled four people and received money from them for services that were supposed to be provided for free. As a result, more than 240,000 rubles were embezzled. "A criminal case has been initiated under the signs of a crime provided for in part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, - commented the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Chelyabinsk Region. A 47-year-old woman has been obligated to appear. Investigators are determining whether she is involved in other similar episodes.
