Kobakhidze reminded that Georgia supported the American resolution on Ukraine. According to the Prime Minister, Tbilisi is important to join in solving the problem. "We support the peaceful plan of the US government and hope that this plan will be successful very soon," he told journalists. It became known earlier that the UN Security Council adopted the US-proposed resolution on Ukraine without amendments. The American resolution does not contain accusations against Moscow in connection with the start of the special operation, the document does not mention the issue of Ukraine's borders. In addition, it speaks of the need to settle the conflict. The resolution was supported by 10 countries, including Russia. At the same time, the UN General Assembly adopted an anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine prepared by the European Union and Kiev. The draft was supported by 93 countries, 18 countries voted against it, including the US, and 65 countries abstained from voting.
