Hamas met with Red Cross officials in the southern city of Khan Younis. The bodies of Oded Lifshitz and members of the Bibas family, two of whom are children, were transferred there. The youngest of them, Kfir, was only 9 months old at the time of the abduction on October 7, 2023, and his older brother Ariel was 4 years old. ICRC vehicles have already left the Palestinian city. Now they are heading to the locations of the Israeli troops. The remains will soon be handed over to forensic experts. They have to confirm the identity of the dead hostages and establish the cause of their death.
