The International Lenten Choral Festival will open on March 9 at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. On the opening day, a concert of sacred music awaits visitors, the press service of the Moscow Synodal Choir reported.
The opening concert is attended by the Academic Grand Choir "Masters of Choral Singing" radio "Orpheus", the Chamber Choir of the Moscow Conservatory, the Tula State Choir. The organizers of the festival revive the tradition of Lenten concerts of classical and sacred music. The festival will end on April 4 in the temple of the icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" on the Big Ordynka.
