It will be held from 4 to 9 April under the motto “Let’s remember everyone by name”, reflecting the idea of uniting with the memory of the national feat on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory.
The program includes performances of theaters from Abkhazia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Russia, including productions based on the works of Soviet prose writers, participants in the war: “On a Clear Day” according to Astafyev and “Tomorrow There Was War” according to Vasiliev. The festival also refers to the Russian classics played during the war: "Tales of Melpomen" by Chekhov and "Fathers and Children" by Turgenev. Within the framework of the festival, the conference "Russian Theatre Abroad as an Institute of Russian Culture" will be held, dedicated to the projects of Russian theaters abroad for the anniversary of the Victory.
