In the Museum of the Northern Russian Folk Choir appeared new exhibits

The Museum of the Northern Russian Folk Choir was replenished with new objects. They will be included in the permanent exhibition, which is created for the 100th anniversary of the team – it will be celebrated next year. Among them is a woven belt, part of the stage costume of Antonina Kolotilova, the founder and first artistic director of the ensemble. Color and pattern are characteristic of the Vologda province of the early twentieth century. Also, the collection was replenished with photos and a set of gramophone records with records of the choir. One of them was sent from France after the performance of the band in Paris. “Paris, 11 October 61. Madame Antonina Kolotilova. “Let me express our sincere congratulations on the wonderful work you have done at the head of the ensemble, which was applauded by tens of thousands of Parisians and in which they recognized one of the most outstanding among those sent by your great country,” Svetlana Sorgina, curator of the museum room of the Northern Russian Folk Choir.
