The regional organizing committee of the VI International Forum “Arctic: Territory of Dialogue” was created in the Murmansk region. Representatives of regional authorities and relevant federal agencies will prepare and conduct the event, the Ministry of Information Policy of the region reported. Governor Andrey Chibis approved the composition of the organizing committee and the plan of main events. The program included the organization of business, exposition, cultural and sports events, the preparation of the infrastructure of Murmansk, security, transport and medical support. The key topics of the forum will be the development of the Northern Sea Route, improving the quality of life in the Arctic, investment, resource development, innovative technologies and attracting personnel to the North. The International Arctic Forum will be held on March 26-27, 2025. Its main venue will be the Kirov Palace of Culture. Simultaneously with the forum will be held and jubilee, the 90th, the Festival of the North.
