According to Kolokoltsev, the register of controlled persons has been operating for about a month. “All this is done in order to encourage a citizen to legalize his stay in our country and move from the category of illegally staying here to the category of legally being, as well as working and under the control of law enforcement agencies. These citizens have a deadline set on April 30 to legalize their stay. They must appear in the internal affairs bodies, legalize their stay, provide the necessary documents, and only then they will be excluded from this register, the minister said. He noted that there are a number of bans for such foreigners. “Firstly, they are not allowed to leave their place of residence and the subject of the Russian Federation in which they reside. Secondly, to carry out banking operations for citizens who are foreign citizens in this register, to marry and take exams for driving vehicles, – said Kolokoltsev. Citizens who hire a migrant have the opportunity to go to the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the portal of State Services and check whether a person is on the lists of the register of controlled persons. The concept of state migration policy should be adopted in 2025 as soon as possible. This was stated earlier on the air of “Russia 24” by Vladimir Putin at the expanded board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
