Lavrov asked his Turkish counterpart to take further measures to prevent such actions of the Kiev regime against civilian infrastructure. “The minister convincingly asked his Turkish counterpart to use the opportunities available to Ankara in working with Kiev to prevent such, not for the first time, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks against civilian infrastructure,” the ministry said. In turn, Fidan said that the necessary measures will be taken. On the night of February 28, an attempt was made to attack the infrastructure of the Russkaya compressor station on the Turkish Stream gas pipeline by drones. The Russian Defense Ministry earlier noted that the purpose of the strike by the Kiev regime was to stop gas transit to Europe.
