He stressed that the prevented terrorist attack against Tikhon once again proves the terrorist nature of the activities of the Ukrainian special services. “Undoubtedly, this is a monstrous situation, fortunately, of a failed assassination attempt. Of course, monstrous from any point of view. And from the point of view of the fact that the Ukrainian special services purposefully chose a particular clergyman, Legoyda said. He added that the killers also destroyed the lives of the perpetrators of the failed terrorist attack. “They, in general, destroyed not only the lives of these young people, they destroyed their souls in a sense, because they actually forced them to betray the teacher, a person they knew, to whom they were close,” Legoyda said. Earlier, the FSB Center for Public Relations reported on the prevention of a terrorist attack against Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea. For preparing for a terrorist act detained the assistant and clergyman – Denis Popovich and Nikita Ivankovich. During the interrogation, Popovich admitted that he was recruited by Ukrainian special services.
