March 5 in Yakutia celebrates the Day of People’s Master

People’s Master Day is celebrated today in Yakutia. This year it was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. One of the main events of the holiday is the procession in national costumes. There are also exhibitions, competitions and festivals in the republic. On the day of the People’s Master, a solemn procession of masters and needlewomen of Yakutia took place along the streets of the capital of the republic. Many masters carried portraits of participants of the Great Patriotic War. The anniversary of the Victory became the main theme of the exhibition "Yakutia Workshop", which this year is held in the republic for the 15th time. More than 30 districts of the republic presented their works in various techniques at the exhibition.
