According to the politician, the increase in the cost of flowers exceeds the level of inflation, and prices create the impression that manufacturers and owners of flower salons “want to earn a year in advance in a few March days.” Earlier, the head of the Duma Committee on social policy Yaroslav Nilov (LDPR) appealed to the FAS and the Ministry of industry and trade with a proposal to limit the growth of prices for flower products on the eve of the holidays. Meanwhile, the cost of freshly cut flowers in Russia increased over the past year by 20%.
