Mironov proposed to hold a credit amnesty to improve living standards

In his opinion, until the framework for food prices is established and a credit amnesty is carried out, Russians will be forced to spend most of the money earned to buy essential goods and give it to banks. The deputy reminded that half of citizens give from 10% to 30% of their income to payments to banks, and a quarter - from 30 to 50%. "Borrowers owe 1.5 trillion rubles - and this is only what went through the court," Mironov said. He also noted that inflation for the poor is one and a half times higher. Mironov explained that the rise in food prices hits much more for low-income citizens, especially for people of retirement age. “Therefore, the gap between the top and bottom is increasing,” the deputy stressed. Earlier, Sergei Mironov on the air of Russia 24 said that without solving the issue of providing citizens with housing, it is impossible to cope with the demographic challenge. For many Russian citizens, mortgages, even preferential ones, become a burden. He therefore proposed social housing as an alternative.
