Moscow police suspected of staging detention for drug trafficking

It was previously established that the traffic police inspector and two police officers in the Eastern Administrative District staged the detention of a man for illegal possession and sale of narcotic drugs. “For allegedly not bringing to criminal responsibility, they demanded 3 million rubles from him,” the statement said. The events described occurred in May last year. Along with the police acted five more people, with whom the guards colluded. It is emphasized that the materials of the inspection were transferred to the investigative bodies, whose employees have to make a procedural decision. Now the defendants have been suspended from work. If the guilt of the police is confirmed, they will be dismissed and prosecuted.
