Mother and two sons with a knife broke into the French lyceum to settle the dispute

Police arrested the woman and one of her sons, while the second managed to escape. The management of the educational institution immediately contacted the police after receiving the notification. According to one law enforcement official, “the danger was quickly eliminated” and “no one was scared.” No casualties were reported. The mayor of Sandrine Dos Santos, in turn, expressed concern about the incidents around the lyceum. She said several cases of violent acts and theft have been reported since January. Due to the increased danger, she demanded more patrols around the facility. Dos Santos called for the "immediate adoption of a national action plan" to tackle the possession of knives, especially by minors. French media stressed that the events in the lyceum occurred less than a month after the fight of students of the lyceum named after Charles de Gaulle in Poissy, where one of the participants in the brawl also brought a knife. As a result of the incident, three people were injured, a fourth was arrested.
