According to the decree, the Council will include the heads of the foreign Ministry, defense, intelligence, interior Ministry, as well as two members with advisory functions, which will be appointed by the head of state. “To form a National Security Council headed by the president of the republic with the aim of managing security and political issues,” the head of state’s office said. Earlier, the new Syrian authorities announced the completion of the operation against supporters of President Bashar al-Assad who left the country. Earlier it was reported that Assad’s supporters raised an uprising in Syria.
