In Kazakhstan, the limits of deviation of the purchase rate from the sale rate of foreign currency in exchange offices are set. For the US dollar, it is 7 tenge, for the euro - 10 tenge.
The relevant decision was made by the National Bank of Kazakhstan at the next meeting of the Board, according to the website of the regulator. Plans to establish a spread between the rates of buying and selling foreign currency in exchanges were mentioned in January. Then the National Bank specified that we are talking only about cash currency, non-cash forms of restrictions will not affect. At the beginning of the year, the level of price growth in Kazakhstan reached 8.9%, against which the national currency became cheaper. In January, according to the National Bank, price growth accelerated in 14 of the 20 regions of the country.
