Novgorod residents this year can again become participants of the charity festival "White Flower"

The festival was initiated at the beginning of the last century by the royal family, and revived in our time by the sisters of mercy. In Veliky Novgorod, the action is held for the second time, the first was dedicated to communicating with children on the topic of family values. This year, the Sisterhood of Mercy in the Name of St. Anna of Novgorod decided to expand the scope and go further - pregnant women will be the recipients of events and, of course, help. To contribute to a good undertaking, benefactors can do things that will serve future mothers and babies. They are collected in the clothing center of the Sisterhood, at the address: Nutnaya Street, house 8 (they meet with the addressees of the charity event there on Tuesdays and Thursdays). However, for all needy things in the warehouse is not enough, and the organizers do not yet have permanent partners ready to provide support. To raise funds helps the same flower that gave the name of the festival. White lavender, and at the same time yellow mimosa and purple hyacinths, volunteers, including the sisters of mercy themselves, create from fluffy blue wire, and exchange for donations. As it became clear at the opening of the festival in the shopping center "Marmalad", such flowers are in good demand among residents of our city. During the action, they could not only be received in gratitude for donations, but also made with their own hands, at a master class conducted by the sisters of mercy. In addition, Novgorod residents were asked to write wishes for pregnant women, and fill out questionnaires (about the number of children in families, starting with great-grandmothers). Master classes will be held on Saturdays from 15.00 in the House of Mercy on Slavnaya Street, 41. Some of these handicrafts will go to the charity fair on the feast of the Holy Trinity.
