Optimistic forecasts for the summer season in Anapa are being made by Russian tour operators.

Major Russian tourist companies claim that there are no mass cancellations of purchased tours to Anapa. However, early bookings for the summer of 2025 at the Black Sea resort have decreased. The reason is the news of beach pollution following tanker accidents in the Black Sea. For comparison: in 2024, 22% of early bookings were for Anapa, while in 2025, it's only 3.7%. Sochi remains the leader in bookings with 47% of requests. Booking tours to Anapa in February 2025 is three times lower than last year. Nevertheless, the demand remains. According to players in the tourism market, the main sales of tours to the Black Sea occur in March-May. Many tourists, especially locals, are used to buying tours closer to summer. Some customers wait for the start of discounts, but prices have not dropped yet. Meanwhile, hotels and Rospotrebnadzor confirm that the beaches are almost clean, and the water and air are normal. Volunteers and seabed checks have not found any critical problems. Moreover, there are still several months left before the start of the mass bathing season. And the work on cleaning the sea and beaches continues uninterrupted. Tour operators believe that there may be a shift in bookings towards expensive hotels - 4-5 star hotels with pools and catering. According to experts, there are about 20% of such hotels at the resort. At the same time, demand for budget accommodation may decrease. A surge in bookings is expected around April when the results of the coastal cleanup become more visible. Hoteliers expect the season to be at the level of 2021 - without records but stable, as reported by the Russian newspaper.
