A delegation of volunteers for 10 days helped to deal with the consequences of the oil spill.
27 residents of the Yaroslavl region helped to fight the consequences of the environmental disaster on the Black Sea coast. Recruitment to the delegation was carried out by the regional government. The volunteers included students of the cadet college. For a week and a half they lived in Anapa and worked to eliminate the oil spill. Some volunteers, such as college graduate and active member of the volunteer team Ivan Feofanov, sifted through the sand. Others saved animals. For example, as the volunteer Darina Epishkina told, she not only washed birds from fuel oil, but also treated them. Also, several people worked in the field kitchen β drowned the oven and heated food for other volunteers.
