Political scientist Mikheev: Germany's leadership in Europe will not be accepted by anyone.

According to him, the candidate for Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz, if elected, will make efforts to lead Germany to the forefront of Europe. However, he may face failure, considering that the United Kingdom, Poland, and France are against such an idea. "Merz will try to become the leader of Europe. <...> In my opinion, this will not work out. In reality, Germany's leadership will not be accepted by anyone. This is precisely the moment when one can work towards their division and so on. Although yes, he may be dangerous in some of his initiatives to help Ukraine and others. But nevertheless, personally, I do not think that Germany has a chance to become the leader of a united Europe. Everyone is against it, from the Poles to the United Kingdom," the political scientist noted. Mikheyev is convinced that for Europe, using Germany and making it a leader are completely different things.
