Rodionov: EU does not recognize as a mistake its support for Ukraine

The expert drew attention to the fact that, unlike the European elites, US President Donald Trump can without consequences renounce relations with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, citing the former US government. European elites do not want to leave Ukraine, not because Ukraine is so important to them. They can’t just jump off, like Trump, and say, “I have nothing to do with this, all our predecessors did it, all the demand from them, and I have nothing to do with it.” European elites have no one to turn the arrows on, only on themselves, only they are to blame for what is happening. Therefore, for them to admit that their support for Ukraine was a mistake would mean the end of a political career for many European leaders. Trump is seeking an agreement from Zelensky on the supply of minerals. The deal provides the United States with rights to 50% of rare earth metals in Ukraine. In this way, Washington wants to return up to $500 billion invested in Kiev.
