Meanwhile, SHAMAN himself explained that he submitted documents to Rospatent for brand registration to draw attention to the fact that a huge number of entrepreneurs and his detractors are trying to use the phrase “I am Russian” to sell their products, including of dubious quality. It can also be alcohol or adult toys. According to the singer, the refusal of Rospatent gives a guarantee that the title of his song will not get to anyone. He added that he initially understood the impossibility of registering the brand “I am Russian” and deliberately took certain risks. Two applications to Rospatent for registration of the trademark "I am Russian" Dronov filed on October 12, 2024. The singer under this name planned to produce alcoholic beverages and various cosmetics. Social activists, in particular the Call of the People movement, strongly opposed this.
