Members of the group were engaged in the possession and sale of plant and synthetic drugs. The operatives seized about 450 grams of prohibited substances from illegal trafficking. A criminal case was opened against the man. He faces up to life imprisonment. During the investigation, a resident of Krasnodar will be in custody. “The criminal case against three members of an organized group was investigated by the investigative authorities of the Republic of Abkhazia and sent to the court. At present, a set of operational-search measures and investigative actions aimed at identifying other persons involved in the commission of these crimes are being carried out, the report said.
