The solemn ceremony took place in Nadyom on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day. By the decree of the President of the country, Private Mikhail Zolotoy was awarded the medal "For Courage." The northerner volunteered for the front in January 2024. During this time, he was repeatedly noted with various distinctions, including the "For Combat Merit" medal. Corporal Alexey Kurteev received the medal "For Bravery" of the II degree. The father of many children spent a year on the front. And Rodion Kuchin was awarded the "For Military Valor" medal of the II degree. In August of last year, while on duty, a Yamal resident discovered unmanned boats, which led to the swift destruction of the enemy and the preservation of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet. "I am very glad that you are spending this day with your loved ones, who are proud of you. Everyone has different destinies, someone signed a contract," said Governor of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitry Artyukhov.
