According to the regional investigator, the suspect stole budget money that belonged to the university. According to the investigation, the vice-rector re-accrued incentive one-time payments to employees. The reason for the award was a memo made by the suspect. As part of the investigation at the workplace of the suspect, investigators conducted searches. They seized all accounting documents and stolen money - they were recognized as physical evidence. Now the university is questioning employees, as well as clarifying all the circumstances and other possible facts of illegal activity. Now the regional investigators decide on the question of what measure of restraint to choose the suspect. Note that the sanction of the article under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud” involves up to 6 years of imprisonment.
