The film company demands to recover 55,429 rubles from the defendant for illegal use of the image of Cheburashka. The amount includes: 25 thousand rubles of compensation for violation of trademark rights, 25 thousand rubles of compensation for violation of the rights to the character, 85 rubles for the purchase of goods, 144 rubles in reimbursement of postal costs, 200 rubles for obtaining an extract from EGRIP, and 5 thousand rubles in reimbursement of expenses for fixing the offense. As material evidence, the plaintiff cited socks. “To attach material evidence to the case materials – socks,” the court documents say. At the moment, the claim was accepted for consideration in court. Earlier, Soyuzmultfilm also sued another entrepreneur from Tomsk, who also illegally used the image of the hero. In general, from January 2024 to March 2025, the film company filed 11 lawsuits against individuals and legal entities from the Tomsk region.
