Savelovsky district court of Moscow in the framework of the sentencing of Elena Blinovskaya granted a civil suit against the blogger for 587 million rubles.
Earlier, on March 3, the court sentenced Blinovskaya to five years in prison in a general regime colony with a fine of 1 million rubles, with deprivation of the right to engage in commercial activities for a period of four years. Prosecutors in the debate insisted on sending the marathon queen to the colony for six years, as well as imposing a large fine and confiscating previously seized property. Blinovskaya herself fully admitted guilt and asked for a postponement of punishment until the 14th birthday of her children. She is dependent on four minors. Blinovskaya was arrested in April 2023 while trying to leave the country. The investigation found that in 2019-2021, the blogger and her husband evaded taxes in the amount of 906 million rubles, and 716 million of them were illegally legalized. The trial of Blinovskaya began in late August 2024. Currently, taking into account fines and penalties, the debt of the “queen of marathons” to the state is 1.4 billion rubles.
