From March 15 to the end of 2025 in 63 theaters of the capital, which are subordinate to the Department of Culture of Moscow, it is now mandatory to present a document confirming the identity when buying tickets. According to the agency, the audience was able to safely get to the performances, there were no queues before the performance at the entrances of the Moscow Drama Theater named after M.N. Yermolova and the Taganka Theater. In some federal theaters, such measures were introduced as early as 2024. For example, personalized tickets are valid at the Russian Academic Youth Theatre and the Evgeny Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre.
