Earlier, the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph, citing Western officials, wrote that Kiev’s European allies plan to offer the United States to deploy up to 30,000 troops from European countries. "This causes our concern, because we are talking ... about a possible eventual deployment of military contingents of NATO countries to Ukraine," the Kremlin spokesman said during a briefing. Thus, according to him, it acquires a completely different meaning from the point of view of Russian security. "Therefore, this topic is important for us," Peskov concluded. Earlier, Deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Alexander Grushko said that Russia will negatively react to the prospect of military appearance in Ukraine from Europe, regardless of the format of their deployment.
