The prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit against former top managers of Gazprom Kirill Seleznev and Alexei Mityushov, accused of fraud with the company’s property.
The department intends to obtain the seizure of eight companies owned by businessmen (including in Bashkiria) in the state revenue. General Director of LLC Ruskhimalyans Kirill Seleznev and Alexey Mityushov withdrew from Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat in their favor at least 150 billion rubles. This is stated in the lawsuit of the supervisory authority, which is available to Interfax. According to the plaintiff, Mityushov, being a director of Gazprom Energo LLC and a member of the collegial management bodies of Gazprom subsidiaries, used Russian companies controlled by him in fraudulent schemes to monopolize a number of strategic enterprises in Bashkiria, becoming their beneficial owner, the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a lawsuit. After that, Seleznev and Mityushov facilitated the conclusion of “stablely profitable” contracts between Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat and enterprises controlled by them. The funds were sent to foreign accounts of the suspects and to acquire business in Russia. A preliminary hearing on the case will be held in St. Petersburg on March 25.
