People’s Artist of the USSR Tatiana Doronina recalls her creative path, works, meetings. In the first program, Tatiana Vasilyevna talks about her childhood, her parents, her beloved city of Leningrad, her acquaintance with Konstantin Simonov, and her admission to the Moscow Art Theatre School. Used fragments from the film "Big Sister", the television play "The Enchanted Wanderer". Tatiana Doronina talks about her favorite teacher at the Moscow Art Theatre School B. Vershilov, about rehearsals with L. Varpakhovsky, about work in the Gorky BDT with Georgy Tovstonogov. The program uses scenes from the performances: "Barbarians", "Three Sisters" and the anniversary evening dedicated to G.A. Tovstonogov. In the third part of the cycle, Tatiana Doronina reflects on the dramaturgy of A.P. Chekhov. Scenes from TV performances are included: "Well, the audience", "Three Sisters" (BDT), "The Seagull" of the Mayakovsky Theatre. A story about the rehearsal with M.O. Knebel at the Mayakovsky Theatre, about working with Andrei Goncharov. The program uses scenes from the play "The Man from Lamancha". In the final part of the cycle, Tatiana Vasilievna Doronina talks about her stage partners: A. Dzhigarkhanyan, I. Smoktunovsky, E. Kopelyan, about performances based on the plays of E. Radzinsky. Included scenes from the performances: "Long live the Queen, Vivat!", "104 pages about love" (BDT), "A nice woman with a flower and windows to the north.".
