📝 Summary
In Chelyabinsk detained three high-ranking employees of JSC “Makfa”, suspected of attempted bribery on an especially large scale, reported in the regional investigation Department of the IC.
Among the detainees are the director of procurement and supply, the head of the grain procurement service and the manager of this service. According to the investigation, from September 1, 2024 to February 27, 2025, the company’s employees were going to receive a bribe of 16 million rubles from a representative of the company for the unimpeded signing of specifications for the contract for the supply of wheat. They were detained during the transfer of the first part of the bribe in the amount of more than 1 million rubles to the intermediary – the manager of McFa. A criminal case has been initiated on attempted bribery on an especially large scale and mediation in bribery committed on an especially large scale. The defendants will soon be charged. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.
