In the speech, the head of state claimed that more investigations were organized against him under the Biden administration than in the 1930s against the Italian mafia boss of the Prohibition era, Al Capone. “I have been under investigation at a much higher level than Al Capone or anyone else, perhaps in the history of our country,” Trump said. He added that after coming to power, he stopped using the justice system as a political tool. On February 8, Trump wrote on Truth Social that he had withdrawn Biden’s security clearance. He also ordered no more daily intelligence briefings for his White House predecessor. Trump said the 46th president of the United States had a bad memory and that even in the best of times he could not be trusted with classified information.
