The US leader said that Kiev’s rude attitude to the head of the Ministry of Finance was manifested in the refusal to sign an agreement on US access to rare earth metals in exchange for financial and military assistance. “Scott Bessent went there and he was treated pretty rudely because they basically told him no.” Zelenskiy was asleep and was unavailable to meet him.
