At the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin a year ago in our country was launched the program “Time of heroes”. Its goal is to prepare veterans and fighters of a special military operation for further work in state and municipal authorities, state companies, participation in socially significant projects.
According to the Telegram channel of the program, 83 participants entered the first stream. On May 27, 2024, they all began training. "The main selection criteria were combat merits during the SVO, as well as managerial experience and potential of candidates," the statement said. Since the beginning of the program "Time of heroes" 27 students received new appointments. Program Manager Maria Kostyuk became acting governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region. The program is implemented on the basis of the Presidential Academy (RANEPA). As the rector of the university Alexei Komissarov said, it is important to enrich the knowledge of the SVO fighters in order to prepare effective managers. Additional selection of participants is ongoing. Also at the United Russia Congress, the head of state announced the need to extend the federal program “Time of Heroes” to the regions.
