π Summary
44 video cameras were installed to monitor the fire-hazardous situation in the forests of Crimea. They are part of the video monitoring system.
Interdepartmental teams have already been established in the region to survey areas bordering forests. According to TASS in the EMERCOM in the region, this year the fire season may begin in April. Last year, it was introduced in the republic from April 1 to December 14. A special fire-fighting regime operated from April 17 to November 7. In 2025, the largest number of wildfires is expected in the period from the second half of July to the end of September. The number of fires is already increasing. So, from 3 to 10 March in the territories of Bakhchisarai, Soviet, Krasnoperekop, Nizhnegorsk districts there were 71 fires. That's 22 more than last year. 46 of them are associated with the fire of dry vegetation and debris.
